YES WE HAVE SOME NEW INFORMATION. DEVANTE AND LINDSEY WINSTON-SALEM POLICE RELEASE DETAILS OF FOUR ARRESTS AFTER A PURSUIT LEADED TO A DEPUTY BEING STRIKED BY A VEHICLE. NOW, ACCORDING TO INVESTIGATORS, THIS HAPPENED ON CLEMMONSVILLE ROAD AT FRONT STREET THIS MORNING. Police say they were involved in a vehicle pursuit after officers responded to a report of shots fired at a home on MARTIN LUTHER KING JUNIOR WITH CHILDREN INSIDE. INVESTIGATORS SAY THE DEPUTY WAS IN A CONSTRUCTION AREA PROVIDING PROTECTION FOR THE CREW AND HEARD OF THAT PURSUIT. NOW, WHEN THE DEPUTY GETS OUT OF THE VEHICLE TO WARNING THE WORKERS, THE AUTHORITIES TELL US THE SUSPECT VEHICLE IS GOPI. THE DEPUTY HAS A NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURY. WINSTON-SALEM POLICE CHARGED FOUR PEOPLE. THE DRIVER, WHO IS A JUVENILE, FACEES MORE THAN TWENTY CHARGES AS DO EDDIE WINSLOW OAKS JUNIOR NATHANIEL WOOLFORD AND CHRISTOPHER ALLEN ALL ACCUSED OF TARGETING AT THAT HOME. TWO WOMEN HAVE DIED. ANOTHER IS SERIOUSLY INJURED AFTER A SHOT IN GREENSBORO. POLICE SAY THIS HAPPENED AFTER MIDNIGHT IN THE WEST LANE NEAR SPLIT PARKWAY SALEM. THEY TOLD US THE DRIVER WENT OFF THE ROAD AND INTO THE DIVERSION, IT HAD TO CRASH AND SEVERAL TREES. OFFICERS HAVE IDENTIFIED THE KILLED AS MARY ALSTON AND CHARMAINE HARGROVE.
